About Finnegan Construction Group LLC

I’m Matt Finnegan, owner of Finnegan Construction Group LLC. I’ve been building in Washington DC and Maryland for 15 years.

A lot of my work is in older DC rowhouses. Lowering basements, adding space, fixing water problems, and renovating homes that haven’t been touched in decades. Older houses always have surprises, and I’d rather find them early than halfway through the job.

We’re a licensed general contractor in DC and Maryland. We take on home additions, underpinning, basement waterproofing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and full renovations.

I live in DC with my family. Most of our jobs are within a short drive, in DC, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Kensington, and Potomac.

Every project starts with a site visit. I look at the work, we talk through what you want, and I send you a quote.

Licensed in DC (#410520000455) and Maryland (MHIC #05-169847).
